“Lively” and “welcoming” , this “rock-steady” UES steakhouse via Tony Fortuna is “where the locals go” for “well-prepared” beef at “serious but acceptable prices” ; just expect some “noise” and “watch out for the cougars at the bar.”

I love coming here. The food is ALWAYS amazing. The cocktails are delicious and strong. If you order a glass of wine they are not shy in pouring. Now let’s talk food. Their steak is mouth watering. They have a mixture of different items. The tuna tartar is the BEST in the city hands down. My favorite fish dish is the Seabass, and the Seared Octopus is unforgettable. Go try and see. If you have space for dessert Banana parfait is life changing.

I came here with a group that was significantly younger than the majority other tables on a Saturday night. Honestly it may have been my age group but I feel as if we weren't taken seriously. The servers working here talk amongst themselves very often and stand around, which really isn't professional... Their food is only decent. I mean, $23 for a salad-- I don't even think it was dressed. Or maybe its not supposed to be ? I have no idea. Their menus are just kinda thick sheets of regular 8.5x11 paper with like food stains from previous use. We ordered a pizza and oysters as appetizers; pizza dried and kinda over burnt. It tasted like it was made before and was tossed in the oven to heat up for us. Cheese didn't look like it just melted. Oysters were VERY small, not worth the money. Our server never bothered to check up on us half way into our meals-- come on, even Buffalo Wild Wings does that... so yea over all I just don't think my group was taken seriously. And I've never seen a check with TIPS INCLUDED. Idk, maybe it's just me but they didn't deserve the 20% they literally demanded. ...

Great food and drinks! We had the jalapeno margaritas to drink, the rice balls as an app and the porterhouse for 2 for the main. Great service, atmosphere and food. I would recommend it. It is a bit pricey but a nice meal for a special event is normally what I've gone for so totally worth it.
