Yep, you’ll find “all things clam” ( “pizza, sliders, chowder” ) at this “charming” West Village seafood spot where “interesting” preparations elevate classic dishes to “excellent” levels; “welcoming” staffers and a “grown-up” atmosphere make it a “slam dunk” for both a “hot date” or dinner with “your parents.”

Our experience began with rather aggressive reservation confirmation, which was a bad omen. I was unable to answer my phone, first voicemail at 11:15 a.m., second call at 1:22 p.m. both threatening to "release the reservation to the wait list if not confirmed by 3 p.m.". If you're really that popular, is it so necessary to berate your customers to confirm? May I suggest that you change that to "We request that our customers confirm by 3 p.m."? Pretty irritating. So, we showed up on time and there is not really a host station so you stand there waiting to be acknowledged and nobody comes out to greet you, they finally just gesture you to come further in. Awkward. I know that restaurants make money by turning tables but this place takes it to another level, not so subtly moving you along. FOOD: The clam/lobster sliders are pretty tasty but at $14 for a 2-bite mini-sandwich the value is not there. Clam chowder is nice but nothing special and at $15 for a pretty small bowl it is also overpriced. Clam pizza was OK, dry flavorless crust and not that great especially if you've had the ones in New Haven. It is a rather nice room but gets very loud. Based on the obnoxious front of house management and mediocre food, I won't be back.

Absolutely one of the best seafood places I have been to in NYC! Will be visiting for future special occasions - thanks for a lovely dinner.
