Light-filled venue behind a butcher shop

Charcuterie's front and center in this Krog Street Market spot bursting with robust flavors and decor. That's because it's the handsome first full-service restaurant from The Spotted Trotter butcher shop team (enter from either the street or through the food-hall butcher stand), and most dishes on the menu present inventive takes on traditional American favorites – often while incorporating more than one meat product per plate.

I vote their burger as the best in Atlanta! Two juicy patties on an amazing soft buttery bun! There's never a wait here which is crazy since it has such a wonderful outdoor patio area for dining on Krog while people watching. · May 31, 2016
I enjoyed the five course tasting menu this past Wednesday with my guests, and was utterly impressed by the disciplined reductions, intense flavors, exquisite taste and extraordinary presentation. Probably the best chef in Atlanta right now. Highly recommended.

If I could, i would give half of a star. Everything just took too long, from the bar area to the dinning area, the reason for delays was always "Sorry, they are very busy in the back ". Also, there are no signs and nowhere on their menus, beer/wine or food menus stating that you cannot bring something from the outside. Never mind spending over $80.00 and waiting close to 45 minutes for our food and cancelling the desert after wating 20 more minutes. The kicker was that It took the Manager /Maitre less than 1 minute to spot my son and my daughter with an ice cream from a nearby shop and ask them to leave because it was not allowed. As we were leaving, the same manager offered a gift card for the delays, etc. which I declined. Consider yourself warned.
