The Zagat Review
This “stellar” Clayton kitchen from chef-owner Jim Fiala blends French and Italian influences to provide “imaginative” yet “elegant” New American cuisine, with “star-of-the-show” tasting menus and wine flights that make for a "sublime" experience; the “cozy” setting decked out with modern artwork, a wine wall and wood accents, is tended by a staff that “shines.”

Had a great experience in this place. Checking before going they have a couple of “Tasting menu” but that day they only had the Valentine Day one, which was pretty good. We also had the wine pairing with it. The service was excellent, have no complains, from the host greeting us until the end of the night. Great service. What we did notice was that the place would have a better atmosphere if (maybe) the lights were a little bit more dim. But anyways, a great place to try.

My husband and I had dinner here last night, we both chose the grand tasting menu and splurged on the premium wine pairing since we were celebrating. Every course was both interesting and delicious and the wine pairing was perfect, in fact I discovered a new favorite wine! While there we heard The Crossing will soon be celebrating their 20th birthday and it is easy to see how they've stayed open for 20 years - amazing food, wonderfully friendly service and great atmosphere. We will be back.

Had dinner here, last Thursday! Husband and I both thought it was phenomenal!!!! We were on vacation and splurged with wonderful drinks, including champagne and a very upscale bourbon. We both had the tasting menu. It was to die for. The egg raviolo was sooooooo good. Splurged again by adding the black truffle shavings on top. The strawberry mousse was outstanding and paired perfectly, with champagne. Top notch service, all around! We already have it wrote down, as a must go to restaurant, the next time we are in St Louis, in a few months!
