The Zagat Review
“A tried-and-true spot to quaff a few pints of Guinness after work” , this “comfy” Irish Downtowner is the “rare place to take your drink outside in SF” , thanks to tables lined up in a hidden alley; “getting a seat” can be “tough” , but fans are willing to wait to enjoy “great pub grub” and a “huge selection of whiskeys” delivered by “friendly” servers.

Solid Irish pub. Plenty of in and outdoor seating, and there were at least two groups of six when I was there so space is not an issue. The food was standard pub fair, but very generous! I had the mac and cheese one night and I came back for chicken tenders and cheese fries another night. Everything was excellent. Cider selection wasn't superb, but they have a crazy number of beers and a great wine list

No service. After we walked in and were told to find any seat there was no one for 15 minutes until we went and asked only to learn you make all orders at the bar. Oh gun then I'm the waiter.....and I left a tip for that! Atmosphere Is good but service is non existant.

I didn't actually make it inside, but I went to the block party they put on for St. Paddy's Day 2018, and it was awesome. Headlined by the Quiet Men who are an excellent Bay Area Irish rock band. The whole place was packed and rocking all day.
