I love this bar. They have a small selection of wines by the glass and great specialty cocktails that are inexpensive. They offer happy hour, which is always packed. They have a small offering of bar snacks and hot dogs everyday, but sometimes do some pop-ups with restaurants. Prompt service. There are two TVs as well, so it's a great place to watch sports.

Like many people, I was apprehensive and slightly bitter when Lark replaced Dave's; that place was San Francisco staple for years. I am happy to say that has completely changed and I am now a huge fan of The Lark! It is part of the Future Bars group, who own such places as Pagan Idol, Local Edition, Devil's Acre, and Bourbon & Branch. Lark, however, is a little more toned down than its counterparts - it still feels like the kind of establishment that draws a neighborhood crowd, due largely in part to the 'warm welcome' feel of the bar personalities. Even if you only visit once, you'll leave feeling like a regular at this place. The Lark is upscale dive bar at its finest. Not to mention, the BEST $6 tequila shot in the city! Now go get your drink on.

Came to The Lark on St.Patricks Day. The atmosphere was great and the jukebox had some great music. Only reason the bar doesn't receive 5 stars is because the bartender refused to make mixed drinks on St.Patricks Day, so we couldn't taste any of the bars signature drinks.
