The Zagat Review
Part fish market, part raw bar, this Chelsea Market destination is “unbeatable” for its “fresh-out-of-the-ocean” seafood, including “top-grade” steamed lobsters, sushi and “freshly shucked” oysters; few seats at the marble bar mean many take it to go – or end up “sitting on the hallway floor” outside.

i love this place for their oysters and seafood selection. everything is so fresh and so amazing! the oyster bar has a great selection and the prices are very fair. there is also sushi, soups, lobster rolls, fresh steamed lobster, and a large selection of seafood to purchase and cook yourself. the only down side to this place is how crowded it is with tourists. the lobster bisque is quite good. don’t forget to ogle the pile of giant lobsters.

We ordered 2 dozen cherrystone clams as an appetizer and were greeted with some amazingly fresh and delicious clams. My wife and I ordered the Crabs Benedict which were incredibly out of this world! The eggs were extremely delicious as well as the crab. Our daughter ordered the Lobster Sandwich but couldn't eat it due to lack of flavor. I tried a bite and unfortunately I had to agree. It was simply a sandwich with lobster, veggie slaw, and Cayenne mayonnaise. The veggie slaw was too plain. I would have probably given a 4 star review

If you need a quick bite, and selection is overwhelming, short on time, try the salmon burger and a soup. Great value (relatively healthy) to quality combo under $20 bucks in Chelsea Market is not bad. If you got more time and cash, steer towards an oyster selection, or steamed fresh lobster on the other side of the shop. Don't pass by the canned goods, some treasures can be found, if you're into that sort of thing.
