"Wholesome" , "tasty" breakfasts and lunches for both the gluten-free and “sugar-and-carbs” crowds can be found at this "hip" trio, where the "Mexican-inspired" menu comes in "huge portions" and is affordable to boot; it's ever- "popular" , so expect “noisy” acoustics and “arrive early” on weekends or expect to wait.

Enjoyed New Year's Day meal here. We had an issue getting our name called. The manager may have been new to management or something but calling the parties kept passing is up. We waited for an hour past the other groups that were with us. That was frustrating because the manager didn't even cop to his mistake. For it being thefirst time ever eating here I sure was surprised by how well the food was prepared. Loved the rosemary potatoes. That was an interesting flavor to have for breakfast/brunch. The plate was good enough portions to have some left for lunch later in the day. It is not ideal to bring a stroller. They provide high chairs. There's an aisle to walk through but it is a cozy place and comfortable enough. They also have seating at the bar. Only2bathrooms though..not very efficient for a place like this. I would have been happier to not have to wait for a family of6 girls to get done using the restroom one at a time before I could get in.

We keep trying new breakfast places in San Diego but always come back to the Mission. Their food is so good, and everyone who works there is great. Whatever the fruit compote stuff is that the decorate the plates with is amazing. I'd eat it off a flip flop amazing. Their french toast is to die for. Their Rancheros Verde is heaven on a plate, and the rosemary potatoes are perfectly crunchy and delicious. There's always a wait, but they actually move pretty quickly. Only bad thing about the Mission is the parking.

Still a good place for breakfast or lunch. Love their rosemary bread which adds something special to their sandwiches. Service this visit was adequate and food tasty. Still not as exceptional as earliest visits, but definitely better than the last visit. Perhaps consistency has returned. Parking is always at a premium; walk if you can.
