The “fajitas are juicy and delicious” , the “tortillas are made fresh right at the front” and the margaritas are “awesome” at this longtime “shrine to all things Tex-Mex” in East End; though spruced up in recent years, there’s “no glitz or attitude” here, just a veteran staff, "wonderful" food and a “fun, lively” crowd.

Amazing menu great food! Wait staff is super at their job. Food was so good and even better presentation. Love the menu change with the season. Always something fresh and new here. Don't leave without trying the desserts!

I attended a celebratory dinner here with my best friend and his family about a week or two ago. Our group was rather large, over twenty people I believe, and there were other large groups there as well, due to a graduation that had taken place near by. Unfortunately, this meant that the wait staff and the kitchen were completely overwhelmed. Though I initially tried to be understanding, that became rather difficult after seeing how dismissive and inconsiderate the staff was. We had to ask for plates for our fajitas, silverware, and even menus. Each time, a server would scramble over, clearly flusterd, impatiently hand us whatever we requested, and hurry off again, without so much as a simple apology. Several people's orders were wrong, or cold, and even our drinks from the bar took over twenty minutes to receive. Considering that this restaurant is more expensive than most Mexican restaurants, I expected a higher standard of service. I felt quite badly for the kitchen staff, as it is obviously not their fault that the management booked more reservations than the restaurant could handle. I don't expect I will be returning here.

Was really good. Can't believe I hadn't been here until now. Just how the cards have fallen. Glad we made it over though. Was good food, the service was a bit slow but being served by a motherly figure, you end up not minding. Take note, though for some of you who aren't so patient.
