The Magazine Street locale is perfect for "sitting outside" and "people-watching" while soaking up this Caribbean joint's "casual" , "beachy atmosphere" and downing "tasty" tacos and "yummy" mixed drinks; portions are "generous" and everything's "cheap" , which often "results in a packed house" , though scoring a table is "well worth the wait" ; P.S. thrifty types should "make sure to catch Taco Tuesday."

Great location. Fun Caribbean atmosphere. Great taco Tuesday with interesting choices. The service was great. The wait till get seated took some patience! Great spot!

We went unintentionally on Tuesday Taco night and then were very excited for $4 tacos and $5 margaritas. Unfortunately because the place was so popular and busy, the food inevitably suffered. It was still good, but the quality suffered because of the kitchen's rate of production. We also ordered a salad to start and nachos to keep the night going. The salad was high quality, but the nachos were phenomenal. Really, really brilliant. Nothing fancy, just good quality pulled pork, guacamole, beans, salsa and queso, piled high and delicious. Ambiance is lively, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. I'd definitely recommend going.

This was a recommendation from a local tour guide for happy hour. They have 150+ rums but NONE from Cuba, how can that even be?!? Staff was extremely friendly. We were able to get a bit of rum-education. And he even made us a small Painkiller to taste. They have great happy hour prices and a great selection of food. Definitely a must try if you're on Magazine St.
