Brewpub with house beers & American chow
Brewery · $$
Ardmore's Tired Hands Brewing Company has converted a nearby turn-of-the-20th-century trolley repair shop off Lancaster Avenue into a vast brewpub where 10 house beers pair up with an American menu including tacos, salads and house-smoked fish. The industrial look extends throughout and includes skylights punched into the roof.

We were recommended to visit this brewery by friends. We came on a Saturday at 4pm and it was extremely crowded. We were informed that there was an hour and a half wait for a table. We left are names and went to the bar fora beer. In under an hour our table was ready. The menu is not like any other brewery we have ever been to. They had selections that would fit anyone. The food was fresh and well prepared. All the beers were excellent.

Growler and go. This brewery certainly creates some interesting beers that are must tries, however, I would not recommend sticking around for the food. My friends and I all stopped in for a beer when I came to town. We ordered one regular burger, one veggie burger and the fried chicken. I had the regular burger which was average at best and easily overpowered by the mustard sauce with which it was garnished. The veggie burger was "on the scheme of veggie burgers", one of the better burgers. Finally, the fried chicken, from where I was sitting across the table, was visibly under cooked. I would have to say the highlight of the meal was getting a taste of my friends enormous biscuit that came with the fried chicken. All and all, I would say if you are a beer enthusiast come in for a pint, but find another place to get a sandwich.

One of my favorite spots. Best beer around and the food is incredible and inexpensive. We always get an awesome server or bartender.
