“Each time is a new adventure” at this NoLita destination where the “excellent modern takes" on Italian-American favorites reflect “what’s in season” ; it's “tiny” ( “feels like you’re in someone’s home dining room” ) and the prix fixe–only price is $100, but “you get what you pay for” – it’s “worth fighting for a reservation.”

One of downtown's best tasting menus in a cozy (tiny), charming NoLita space. The chef-selected menu for the day is listed on a big chalk-board. Just settle in and let them take you through their culinary journey. Great special occasion place if you like the out-of-the way, obscure and expect dining of the highest order. WOW, just had a fantastic meal at Torrisi that I would highly recommend. It is hard to have seven courses on a tasting menu that you thoroughly enjoy. I have had quite a few tasting menus, enjoying only half of the courses... Our waiter was efficient and knowledgeable. This was unpretentious and perfectly executed. Well, done-Thank you for the experience!!!!!!

Lots of course, decided daily. Delicious, wonderful experience. Quaint and cozy setting and reservations are a must. The food is delicious and you'll be pleasantly full after. The dishes are wonderfully thought up and well executed. The music was a little loud, so it was a little difficult to hear the server explain what the dishes were.
