The Zagat Review
A “perennial favorite” opposite Carnegie Hall, this “bustling” Tuscan is ever a “safe bet” with its “terrific” pizza, antipasti bar and “amusing” body-parts decor; it's “convenient” for a work lunch or “pre-theater” , so “bring your appetite – and your credit card.”

The night we made a reservation here there were issues with accommodating seating for those with reservations. Some people were waiting for quite some time to be seated, yet fortunately the staff realized people were getting very upset and extra seating/accommodations were made to speed things up. Maybe it was just an extremely busy night, and being a holiday weekend right off Broadway. Aside from these issues that the staff did take care of quickly, the food was extraordinary. The pesto ravioli was incredible and the wine selection was extensive. I hate filling up on bread, but I really couldn't get enough of theirs. I would come back again, but maybe during a less busy part of the year.

Nice restaurant near Carnegie hall, food was good. Had the Chicken Milanese and it was very large but delicious, then had cannoli for desert which was amazing. The cost was on the higher side, not entirely sure it was worth the price in regards to the food but the location is excellent and service was good. You can't get pizza until later in the evening, so don't go early and expect to order pizza. The restaurant is very busy but the service was still attentive, you just have people bussling past your table constantly which can be a little annoying but it's unavoidable. The group I was with enjoyed the ambiance more than I did, so it's probably down to personal taste.

The food is amazing, plentiful and very delicious, attentive service but ... not towards everyone. My friend was seated etc. , I was just shown a chair and, during the whole evening, every time a waiter passed by, they just collided with the chair I was sitting on. It was quite painful for me but not a single 'sorry' was uttered. Shame, as I would have loved to be back as their food is fab! Their goats cheese pizza must the best on the world, trust me , I have been everywhere where you can eat 🍕😉.
