Trinity Restaurant New Orleans
Stylish spot for modern Creole cuisine
French Quarter · $$
Elevated Creole cuisine headlines this sleek French Quarter spot serving up a variety of oysters (raw, smoked, broiled and baked) along with meat and seafood plates. An open kitchen plus marble bars and tables give the space a modern vibe, but it maintains its historic charm courtesy of original dining room archways plus railings on the upstairs balcony where seating is available.

Absolutely impeccable service and delicious food. I had the seared snapper with a toothsome sauce and my son had the chicken three ways which he loved. I started with a sidecar and continued with a delectable rose. The starter, smoked oysters (smoked in-house) on deviled eggs, was innovative and delicious. I liked the red velvet cake dessert but my son was put off by the coconut bubbles. However, we both agreed that when you scooped up the bubbles with the cake the combination was spot on. Highly recommend. Would come again next time I'm in NOLA (which I hope is soon).

It's expensive because that's just what it is. Drag brunch was an unexpected delight. Food was good, except the oysters which were a little mild or just lacking in some way. Beautiful space. Overall enjoyable.
