I've seen some reviews bash this place for being exactly what it wants to be. A heavy metal themed brewery that serves beer, beer and more beer. If you don't drink beer, don't go. If the atmosphere is to much for you, don't complain. I personally am into metal music. Whether that be progressive, old school, brutal death, etc. So, I love the environment. On the other hand, my girlfriend hates all of the previously mentioned music, but still enjoys her time there. Why? Because they brew delicious and unique beer. The place isn't for everyone. Although, for people that do appreciate tasty beer it is well worth your time and money. For those who think TRVE is too extreme or not accommodating enough, I say get out of your comfort zone. There are plenty of breweries that sell great beer in Denver. None can offer the unique experience of TRVE.

One of my all-time favorite breweries, and I drink (and sell) more beer than anyone ought to. TRVE is a truly unique and must-have Denver experience. While they don't market themselves as farm-to-glass, that's exactly what they are, and it isn't even the point - the beer is damn good. I challenge anyone to find another brewery where the atmosphere is dark, the metal is blasting, and the patrons are clad in black while drinking beer that is diverse, creative, and generally pretty fancy.

Some of the best beer in Colorado. Dark, gothic, medieval feel pouring uncategorized beers. Amazing IPAs, Sours, and Stouts, even though they may not be called that. Everything is aged in wood making the beer more dynamic.
