Jody Williams (Buvette) and Rita Sodi (I Sodi) put out “distinctive” , “dream” -worthy dishes (including “super-creative” vegetables) at this West Village Italian, where the rustic setting will transport you “miles from the city” ; “excellent” cocktails add to the “magic” – just “go early” as it’s often “packed” and doesn’t take reservations.

One of my favorite places in NYC West Village. Anything I have eaten here has been amazing. Great selection of wine and drinks as well. Bring a lot of time with you. The wait is horrible:-(

Huge fan of this place. It’s not that cheap, but it’s not too expensive either. Always has a great selection of food and lots of interesting options. Sometimes the food can be heavy so order accordingly. Good wine list. Great for lunch. Good for dinner but they don’t offer reservations so that can be tough. Really nice outdoor seating so it’s great all spring and summer.

Really liked this place, worth the wait. First, the bar is really cool, with great drink selection. Food was excellent too, especially the svizzerina (chopped steak) and the asparagus risotto. Last but not least, the atmosphere of this place is very nice, especially by the bar. Will definitely come back
