A "real red-sauce joint" in the "heart of the Italian Market" , this “family-oriented” Bella Vista "must" is the place for "abundant and satisfying" portions of "Southern Italian cooking without pretense" , just like "good ol' mama" used to make; the “intimate” interior with a "menu posted on the back wall" isn't exactly fancy, and the "attentive" servers have a “no-nonsense South Philly attitude" , "but that's actually part of the charm" ; P.S. cash only with ATM on-site.

Possibly the best meatballs I’ve ever had in my life. Come here for the meatball parmigiana sandwich. The bread is amazing - crispy, light and soft - all at the same time. The meatballs are made with mince beef and the flavour is unbelievable. It’ll only set you back $15 with a tip and a very fulfilling lunch! Staff here are friendly and hospitable. Definitely go!

Honestly I didn't know what to expect, but you get value for the price. Villa di Roma is the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. The shrimp scampi was stunning and fresh, the gnocchi was absolutely delectable, and the pasta was so well cooked. The sauce was also amazing. I couldn't have asked for more.

Hands down the best Italian food in the area! This restaurant has great ambiance, friendly wait staff, and a simple elegance that makes it perfect for both your special occasion dinners or your family dining out night. Family owned and that rich heritage shows in the food and every other aspect of the place. Only thing to remember is that it is a cash only place but if you forget they have you covered with an ATM on site. A definite don't miss if you are in the Philly area!
