Service

An “elegant” “taste of Vienna” , Kurt Gutenbrunner’s West Village “marvel” crafts “Nouvelle” Austrian fare that’s “both hearty and delicate” , served by a “talented” team in a “sophisticated” space appointed with Julian Schnabel paintings; most agree the “budget-busting” bill is “warranted” for such a “memorable” meal.

Have dined here a number of times over the years most recently this winter. While portion size has dwindled considerably, the creative Austrian cuisine, service and atmosphere remain superb.

Great food and service. Foie gras terrine appetizer is a must and the roasted Branzino was cooked just right. Service was also impeccable.

Incredible staff, ambience has famous painting, you get 2 or 3 courses for set price $59 or $79. Had lobster, snitchzels, branding, fab apps of scallops and dessert
