"Seafood magnificence" and "spectacular" water views lure diners to this upscale Embarcadero bar and restaurant situated "practically under the Bay Bridge" , known for its "fresh" , "well-prepared" sea fare (the oyster happy hour is "hard to beat" ) and "smart" aquarium decor; sure, it can get "a bit noisy" at times, but "knowledgeable" servers keep things moving and there's also patio seating.

Excellent decor, ambience and location. Views of the bay bridge are just superb. Food: Menu did not have much vegetarian options but the chef put together 2 distinct plats for the two of us. Excellent portions and taste. Full points for the service as well.

Waterbar is an upscale seafood spot with beautifully prepared, plated and delicious food. On a great day, sit outside for a nice breeze and amazing views. This is a real five-star experience here.

If you love seafood, this is the place for you. It's right on the Embarcadero, on the water side, almost under the Bay Bridge so it has absolutely stunning views. The food is so good, I can't even explain it. Highly recommend getting the oysters and both the starter and main course I had were perfection. While it is on the pricey side it's not going to break the bank which is amazing for the quality of food and service you're receiving. I can't wait to go back again, especially when it's a little warmer so I can sit outside on the patio (they have a lot of heaters to fight the cold though too).
