Celebrated an early Christmas Eve dinner here as it was a finer restaurant with any availability on a holiday. They offered a prix fixe menu with a nice selection of three courses. Sister loved the butternut squash soup and two of us had an amazing greens salad with pomegranate and pine nuts..and it was a substantial size, not a "2 bite" first course. Sister had the filet, just a tad undercooked (she asked for medium) but it was absolutely delicious. Two of us had the John Dory entree, again a very hearty portion, and it was served with spinach, spaghetti squash. The combination was sophisticated and delicious! We sat downstairs, which is very cozy and upscale, without being fussy. The details in the decor were very fun to look at. Finally, the service was excellent, from the host, our fabulous waitress, and the "runners." We had a great experience! Highly recommend.

There were 3 of us. Leaving it a bit last minute to got out to dinner everywhere was booked and had a long wait other than here. Was able to sit at the sea food bar for some drinks until a table quickly opened up. The food was delicious, we started with brussel sprouts, butternut squash soup and bread for the table. All were so good we were longing for more. The mains came ( I shrimp and crab, my friend the Greens special and my mom the Bouillabaisse) and more bread for the table which needed to be asked for 2 (not a big deal) however there were only 3 slices compared to many the first time.) I asked for a side of mashed potatoes of which they didn't have but did "smashed." These seemed to be forgotten until reminding and came really too late to go with the meal and weren't smashed but just cut and somewhat crispy. (Again not a big deal but not what was ordered nor timely.) Then the desserts, these were a massive let down all around. Mine the carrot cake was dry and more importantly missing a main ingredient on it's description which altered the dish greatly. It's espresso icing made with coconut milk NOT coconut icing. Unfortunately for me the icing is why I had actually ordered it. My friends was as described just not that good. The kitchen service was slow. Wait staff seemed to have a lack of knowledge of the dishes although very friendly. Overall for a restaurant of this caliber and pricing to match, I expected way more, at the very least a correct menu. Especially when care to describe the background of the food, sourcing, rearing, etc is made. That said the food outshined the rest. The brussel sprouts dish and the squash soup were so good I'm craving them now and I'm not really a fan of either normally.) Even though elements of the meal weren't up to par those 2 dishes alone were so good that the place is worth another chance.

Our entire experience was delightful! The staff were exceptionally friendly! And the food was over the top delicious. We will definitely go back!
