The "excellent wines to complement" the "creative" seasonal dishes are no surprise at this midpriced South Baltimore New American where an attached wine shop provides guests with "access to hundreds" of bottles at retail price plus a $11 corkage fee ($18 if you BYO); expect an "energetic urban atmosphere" in the warehouse setting tended by a "genial" staff that can handle a corkscrew.

Fantastic neighborhood spot that is slightly more upscale. Warm and friendly but has cloth tablecloths so it feels fancier. Staff is very knowledgeable about wine (duh- wine market), but their cocktails are excellent as well. I haven't had a bad meal here yet and we go fairly often. During warmer months the back patio is lovely as well.

My wife and I tried them out for restaurant week and everything about the meal was excellent. Easy reservations on open table. Service was great - the right amount of checking on us but never overbearing. I had the scallops/lobster and my wife got the beet salad as our first course. For our main dish, I got the braised short rib which was quite good - tender and juicy, with perfect seasoning. My wife got the trout which came with an egg salad type base - she liked hers as well. For dessert she for the bread pudding with ice cream which was good. I got the dark chocolate pave which came with a caramel tasting crunchy base - it was excellent, especially with some coffee. We'll definitely try them again. This is a place I'd highly recommend, especially for restaurant week. They didn't seem to skimp out on anything like other places tend to do for restaurant week.

Nice happy hour..5-7. Aaron was excellent bartender. Mussels and oyster small plates are worth returning again and again. Not a fan of the industrial look though.
