Wynkoop Brewing Company
Brewpub with creative fare & a pool hall
Brewery · LoDo · $$
Co-founded by Governor John Hickenlooper in 1988, this LoDo pioneer was Denver's first brewpub; in a sprawling, multilevel space complete with a pool hall, it continues to push boundaries with canned beers featuring local hops and even Rocky Mountain oysters, among other Wild Western twists. The kitchen likewise builds on the tried-and-true formula of affordable American taverns everywhere by adding homegrown flourishes: think IPA-battered fish and chips, elk sausages and, of course, bison burgers.

Brewery bar located downtown Denver. The downstairs has lots of tables and the main bar . Upstairs is really cool has a game room set up with shuffleboard and pool tables and I'm pretty sure it's all free to play. Also another bar upstairs to keep you refreshed . As far as the beer goes . It was good nothing spectacular but all drinkable. They had a 30 proof beer 15% abv they smartly limit to 1 per customer . Tastes like gasoline but that's what you get when you have that much alcohol in it . We walked there not sure where you would park if you drove there there isn't much parking downtown Denver. Would definitely go back if in the area .

Service and food were both top notch. The flight sample is an excellent deal and a great way for tourists to sample local beers. I had the bison burger and it was literally perfect. My mother had the Cajun creme pasta and it was exceptional as well! Highly recommend

This place is a nice kickback downtown. Three floors with plenty of room for large groups. The food was good and they have a large selection for beer lovers. You can catch a game here or just socialize.
