The Zagat Review
This long-running Fairmount BYO "may not look fancy” , but its “authentic” Greek cuisine – from classic dishes to plates that go beyond the “expected standards” – is “full of flavor” ; “wonderfully sized portions” , “affordable” prices and “accommodating” service make it a “must” for many.

For the 30+ times I've been here (between dining in and delivery),I have never ever had a bad meal. Zorba's is a Fairmount institution and everything they do is great. Their service is always friendly, and the guys always remember us and greet us, even if we're just walking by. You can't beat the food, and the prices, especially for the giant amount of food you get, can't be beat. The charcoal sampler for one or two is always a good starting point! BYOB, so don't forget a bottle of wine!

Great Greek food. Small place but fantastic service and menu. Stopped for lunch before going to tour Eastern State Penitentary. It was perfect for location and meal. Had beef and lamb gyro and it was perfect. Others had chicken gyro or a Greek salad and all were good. Had a 4 yr old in tow and she was happy with the flavors. No beer/wine seen for lunch - might be for dinner. Outdoor seating available.

Uncomfortably small, skinny folks could squeeze in sort of okay. The cold appetizer with 6 dips are great. Been here a couple of times. Tried to give it a couple chances. Meats are also overcooked and dry. Must be a way it's done. It's just not for me. Would be nice if they offered a couple non Greek entrees and appetizers for those who don't care for Greek, but their partners do. Just trying to be helpful, not mean.
