Filter. A third year offering from producer Jose Santana, the Pedra Redonda displays a classic Brazilian profile. A mild acidity and rich sweetness interplay with notes of walnut, praline and toffee.
A beautiful new full bodied Kenyan offering with the remarkable sweetness of peach and persimmon, notes of white grape and a citrus acidity.
Roger Solis operates his own micro-mill at Finca El Rodeo, allowing complete control over his finished coffee. The result is a top quality offering, with a honey sweetness and delicate ruby red grapefruit acidity. A smooth, rounded body and walnut notes give way to a lingering cocoa nib finish.
Filter. Welcomed back for a third year, the El Tambor proves itself as a consistently great cup of coffee. Notes of green grape accompany a juicy body and crisp acidity, finished by the sweetness of marmalade and caramel.
Direct Farm Relationship. A second year offering from producers Marysabel Caballero and Moises Herrera, orange acidity and notes of honeydew produce a beautiful cup perfected with the sweetness of panela.
Single Origin Espresso. As an espresso, El Tambor begins with a creamy flan-like body and progresses to a sweet citrus acidity and crisp pear-like finish.
Single Origin Espresso. A double shot of Korate will taste of spice, then cool to reveal dried apricot and finish with lavender. With milk it all combines for a perfect macchiato with honey-like sweetness.
